Earlier this year, iOS 8 jailbreak was released by PP team . The jailbreak was for iOS 8 upto iOS 8.4 for both Windows and Mac . In Sept this year Apple released iOS 9 firmware and within a month the PP Team released a jailbreak for iOS 9 called PP iOS 9 Jailbreak [ links below ] . However, before you dive straight into iOS 9 jailbreaking, there are some things you need to do first to make sure the PP iOS 9 jailbreak goes off without a hitch.
How to Prepare for PP iOS 9 Jailbreak :
First, make sure that your iOS device is supported. As a general rule, if it runs iOS 9, it will run the PP iOS 9 jailbreak. The following devices are iOS 9 compatible :
- iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6 Plus
- iPad 2,3,4
- iPad Mini 2, Mini 3
- iPad Air, Air 2
- iPod Touch 5
Second, use iTunes or iCloud to take a backup of your data. Hopefully nothing will go wrong during the jailbreak but if it does, your data will be safe:
- Connect your device to your Mac
- Launch iTunes
- Go to the device summary page and look for the Backup section, halfway down the page
- Click on This Computer , then Click on Back up Now
- iTunes will take a backup of your data and save it to your Mac or PC that you are using
- On your iOS device, open Settings
- Tap on iCloud
- Use your Apple details to login if required
- Tap on Storage and Backup
- Tap on iCloud Backup
- A warning message will appear – tap on OK
- Tap Backup Now
NOTE : The warning message is telling you that iTunes will not be able to sync your device while you have iCloud Backup enabled. As soon as you have done the backup, disable iCloud backup if you want to continue with automatic syncing via iTunes.
Third, make sure you have sufficient space on your device before you download the jailbreak. Go through your device and delete any apps you no longer use. Get rid of files you have no need for, music, and video, anything that is not required any longer. Delete your cache and temporary files. To make it easier, you could move photos, videos and music onto an external storage device until the jailbreak has been installed.
Finally, disable Touch ID and your passcode – Settings > Touch ID and Passcode. Also disable Find My iPhone – Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone. Place your iOS device into Airplane mode while you jailbreak.
Download PP iOS 9 Jailbreak :
After having completed all the above steps , proceed to download and install PP iOS 9 Jailbreak on your device .
