PPHelper

Jailbreaks are always popular and, when one is released, everyone rushes to download it. With the latest jailbreak tool, PPHelper from Pangu and PP Assistant jailbreak teams, it isn’t available for all to use. If you are still using an older 32-bit device, PPHelper is not going to work for you as it is a semi-untethered tool for use on 64-bit devices only.  Semi-untethered jailbreaks require you to reinstall the jailbreak whenever you reboot your device but, to help make the process easier, Italian developer and hacker Luca Todesco has released a tool that is based on the original JailbreakMe tool which automatically reactivates PPHelper for you , instructions can be found at the given link. Below are the steps to follow to download PPHelper onto your iOS device.

  1. does not work, i have a iphone 6s plus and when I open the jb tool it just shows a box with a number 5 and clock next to it. There is a button underneath and when i press it, it just brings up another box with a red exclamation mark.

    help please!

  2. What about a 128-bit iDevice? I have an iPad 3 I’ve been wanting to jailbreak for a loooooooong time. Well, since 9.1. LOL

    1. hehe, there is no such thing as 128 bit devices. But i believe that if it existed it should work. 64 bit devices can run 32 bit apps. But im not really sure with jailbreak though.

When you say 128 bit, its not how many storage you have. Thats a different thing. 128GB. Your iPad 3 is probably 32 bit (and probably you meant to say 128 GB) It does not matter how many GB. Its just devices with 64 bit processor. Hope this helps!

    2. there’s a difference between bits and bytes. there’s only 32-bit and 64-bit devices, 32-bit on older devices and 64-bit on newer devices. the storage on your phone is measured in gigaBYTES, so if your iPad’s storage is 128, you have nothing to worry about since it’s a 64-bit device!

    1. Yes, it is meant to ask for your apple id. if u dont feel safe then you can go ahead and change the password after you are done with your jailbreak. I didnt see anything wrong with my apple id after jailbreaking tho.

  3. I read that Apple have begun to unauthorize certificates used to install PPJailbreak, how long of a time span does it look like until this will work again?

  4. Was the IPhone 5s not being able to uncheck the box glitch ever fixed? I’m afraid to go on without unchecking it…is it safe to not uncheck it?
