Jailbreakers all around the world are having an exciting time as there is what seems like a storm of jailbreaks going on these days. The TaiG 2.1.2 jailbreaking tool for iOS 8.3 was just released yesterday and was not even installed by every jailbreaker when another jailbreak bumped in ! Yes, a new jailbreak has released, thus giving competition to the efforts of TaiG. That would have been a good thing normally, but this time it’s not, as the new jailbreak seems to be a total clone of TaiG 2.0 and similarly like the TaiG tool, it is only for Windows. Update : PP Jailbreak for iOS 8.4 is here . Fully supported on all iOS 8.4 enabled devices.

The team behind the new jailbreak is 25PP. This is the same team who launched their own app store named PP Assistance and this was installed in the popular Pangu jailbreak. As we would have expected, the new jailbreak tool by 25PP comes packed with their own PP Assistant, thus avoiding 3K Assistant used in the TaiG tool. Meanwhile, the TaiG team is seriously claiming that the new jailbreak by 25PP is based on the work carried out by TaiG. All we can see is that the new tool is simply the same gift in a new packaging. At this point, there is no distinct feature known about the 25PP jailbreak that separates it from TaiG 2.0.

The release of this new jailbreak was a big disappointment for TaiG, who is reminding the jailbreakers now that TaiG 2.0 is the only official iOS 8.3 jailbreak.
TaiG team released a statement on Weibo in which they said that :
TaiG seems to be right on one point that the PP jailbreak is an unofficial one and for security reasons, jailbreakers are recommended to stick with the TaiG 2.0 tool unless the PP jailbreak gets a green light.
i0n1c noted on Twitter that due to the release of this new jailbreak, TaiG is delaying the essential kernel update for its jailbreak tool to resolve Cydia Substrate issues on iOS 8.3. They are apparently doing this to save their jailbreak from 25PP. i0n1c said “I guess that explains why TaiG is delaying the fix. They need to protect their tool against 25PP” .
