iOS 11 Jailbreak

WWDC 2017 got underway with the expected announcement about iOS 11 download [ext link] and, by the look of things, we are in for something very different when the firmware is released in September. Right now, the first beta is with the developers and those registered on the Public Beta program will get their chance in a few weeks’ time. With any luck, Apple will be spending all their time focusing on iOS 11 and won’t be throwing many more iOS 10 updates our way, leaving the way clear for PP jailbreak team to step in.

iOS 11 Features :

There are several changes that we have been told about already and there is the possibility of more as the beta program moves through the summer. For now, we can expect:

  • a brand-new iOS app store
  • New features in the Maps app
  • New functionality in Siri
  • Easier file browsing with a new File app
  • Camera and Photo app are updated with new features
  • Lock Screen, control center, and notification center get an overhaul
  • Apple Cash Pay is introduced with P2P integration in iMessage
  • Much more

iOS 11 Jailbreak Update :

iOS 10.2 remains the latest iOS version that can be jailbroken, even though we are now well into 10.3. Released by Luca Todesco, Yalu Jailbreak [ext link] is limited in who can use it, only being compatible with the iPhone 5S up to and including the iPhone 6S Plus. Of course, that does leave a good percentage of the jailbreak community unable to jailbreak and enjoy their favorite tweaks and there is the thought that this could continue into iOS 11.

Obviously, we don’t know what is going to happen with the iOS 11 jailbreak [ext link] just yet; it is far too early to even speculate. With beta 1 only just out, we have many more to go before iOS 11 can finally be released to the public and, even then, we are unlike to get a jailbreak straight away. We do know that teams like Pangu and PP will be spending a considerable amount of time looking into each beta as it is released but only when iOS 11 is made public can they begin to work on a jailbreak utility.

For now, the only advice we can give you is to exercise some patience and, if you are already using Yalu Jailbreak, don’t update and lose it because you won’t be able to install it again. So, to stay up to date with all the iOS 11 jailbreak news, follow us on Facebook .
