iOS 10 has been with us for such a short time yet it has already been updated twice. Now on iOS 10.0.2 download [ext link], every update pushes us one step further away from a jailbreak, with vulnerabilities being patched with each one. The latest update provides fixes for a few minor issues affecting a range of devices from the oldest iPhone 5 right up to the brand new iPhone 7 and no doubt it kills off the jailbreak that we were recently shown by Luca Todesco.

How to Jailbreak iOS 10.0.2 :
We have two ways to get iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak. Both methods support 32 bit and 64 bit jailbreaking.
Method 1 : PPHelper Jailbreak
PPHelper for iOS 10.0.2 has not been released yet. It is under beta testing from Pangu and PP Assistant Team. As soon as it is released, we will let you have the download links along with full step by step guide [ Email Subscribe ].
Method 2 : Safari Method for iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak
- On your iPhone, iPad or iPod, open the Safari browser
- Now go to the address bar and type in ppjailbreak.org
- A special web version of PP Jailbreak app will open . When the page loads completely look for the UP arrow at the bottom or the screen and tap on it . It will be at the top of the page for an iPad as shown in the image below.
- A new menu will appear, tap on Add to Home Screen
- Now give your app icon a name as PP. Then tap on Add . Close Safari down
- The PP app icon will be on your home screen and you can use it to access iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak update

PP Helper iOS 10.0.2 Release Date :
Within a couple of days of iOS 10 being released, Todesco had already provided us with proof that iOS 10 could be jailbroken on the iPad, followed with iOS 10.0.1 Jailbreak on the iPhone 7. Although he will not, and never will, release his jailbreaks to the public, it does beg the question, will PP Assistant be able to do the same thing ? Showing off an exploited vulnerability on one device is a far cry from producing a safe, working jailbreak that can be used on all iOS devices and that is what the jailbreak teams are up against. It isn’t a job that can be done in a matter of days, it can take weeks to build the right utility and, with Apple releasing updates at an alarmingly fast rate again, there is every chance that what has been found will be patched quite quickly.

Notice that Pangu and PP Teams never reveal any of the vulnerabilities they are working on and there is a good reason for this – all it does is give Apple the advantage and the chance to patch them off quickly, before or immediately after a jailbreak is released. Both teams will want to provide the best possible experience for users and that means the earliest we can expect to see anything is with an iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak, hopefully in the very near future.
iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak Release Date :
Right now, the latest jailbreak is PPHelper for iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.3.3 and if you are running that jailbreak and you don’t want to lose it, try not to update your iOS device if you can help it. There is no way to downgrade back to iOS 9.3.3 and, once you are past that, you cannot jailbreak until the iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak is released. We know that the teams are working on it and we must be patient for a little while longer.
